MacIntyre Lake Lodge

A Wealth of Experience

Although MacIntyre Lake Lodge is
new to the angling scene in
Saskatchewan, its proponents and
staff are not.

Their commitment to providing simply the best wilderness fishing experience for guests, coupled with a vast knowledge of the angling and the outdoors, and a wealth of experience in the industry, is the foundation around which MacIntyre Lodge has been built.

Gerry Bolger

Gerry Bolger, owner/operator of MacIntyre Lake Lodge has spent decades in Saskatchewan's north. He is a commercial pilot, with over twenty-five years of experience in the tourism industry. Gerry has built and operated, as well as managed lodges in Saskatchewan, giving him a valuable insight into what visitors to the far north need, expect and deserve.

Having fished and visited lodges on a number of Northern Saskatchewan's lakes, Gerry was consistently drawn back to the Cree Lake area. Eventally, he built a private cabin on MacIntyre Lake, and quickly recognized the untapped angling potential of this remote body of water. As a result, MacIntyre Lake Lodge was born!

"The main emphasis at MacIntyre Lodge, will be to offer a complete wilderness fishing experience to our guests", states Gerry. "We want them to have the best fishing we can offer in an intimate, comfortable setting. We want them to feel at home. Today, so many lodges base their operations on a hotel type scenario, eliminating the personal touches. We have purposely limited our capacity to sixteen, so we have the ability to easily cater to each individual's needs."
